Matt Anderson joined Onset Financial in 2021 as the Human Resources Manager and was promoted to SVP of Human Resources the following year. He oversees all HR initiatives and dedicates his expertise to assisting Onset Financial with compliance, development, and the recruitment and retention of employees.

Prior to joining Onset, Anderson was a Vice President for Zions First National Bank, where he directly managed an average of 150 retail employees throughout Utah and Idaho. During his 14 years at Zions Bank, Anderson recruited, trained, and mentored hundreds of employees in different stages of their careers. His experience has given him a robust understanding and experience supporting others in differing situations and developing successful methods for employee development.

Anderson has an adept ability to identify top-tier talent and loves giving candidates an opportunity for life-changing success at Onset Financial. He oversees the Onset Financial recruiting team, which is dedicated to growth and adding value to the amazing company culture. Anderson has a Master of Business Administration from the Goddard School of Business & Economics at Weber State University and over a decade of experience in Recruiting and Human Resources.
